Linking problem?

I'm trying to start programming with APR library, but I am not able to compling or linking correctly. I extracted the zip files in the right way (for directories). Then I opened apr-util/aprutil.dsw and built solution.
And then?
I tried to link every directory in the library file path, but without success. I get always the same error:  ERROR LNK2019 External Symbol.

What can I do?
