It could be a problem of the test as well. If OS doesn't work with huge amount of internet connections it can lead to hang in socket read function.

I've investigated hang of the test and found the source of it.
The problem is in native implementation of org.apache.harmony.luni.platform.OSNetworkSystem.receiveDatagramDirect(). Function hysock_readfrom() doesn't receive required data.
As to my point of view it's a classlib bug.
