   Hi @ringchenhao , sorry for the long delay!
   
   Please find the configuration that worked for me here  https://github.com/gdziadkiewicz/TestLogApp  . Please notice that I'm using ` XmlConfigurator.Configure(FileInfo)` overload to explicitly specify the path to the config file. It is a workaround for the fact that log4net is not establishing the config file path correctly in a single-file deploy scenario.
   
   You can clone the repo, run steps.ps1 and see if it works for you.
