maven-metadata xml schema?
Is there a xml schema available for
maven-metadata.xml files?

I went ahead and created two anyways.
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRM-271
For those interested,
They will be used in the RPM Factory I'm creating.
It will come with a mojo that generates the
maven-metadata.xml per version 2.0.0 of the schema
for the entire repository.
Then it loads that instance, and generates RPMs for
all the libraries in the repository.

Most of the schemas are generated with modello. If this is something
Maven is generating, I wonder if there isn't a model for it somewhere
already.
(That it's not published on the website doesn't necessarily mean there
isn't one.)

I'm not positive, but I don't think so. I think that all of the
schemas are in http://maven.apache.org/xsd/ and I don't see it there.
