malformed header field
Hi folks!
I have some problems with a SOAP response message. I'm trying to receive
a SOAP message with attachments using J2ME and i'm getting some errors.
- first, the 'Content-Type' header field is wrapped and J2ME cannot
parse this field (see the response message):
java.io.IOException: malformed header field
at com.sun.midp.io.j2me.http.Protocol.readHeaders(+63)
at com.sun.midp.io.j2me.http.Protocol.sendRequestEndSession(+50)
at com.sun.midp.io.j2me.http.Protocol.sendRequest(+139)
at com.sun.midp.io.j2me.http.Protocol.openInputStream(+48)
...
'Content-Type' fields can be wrapped? is this allowed by the HTTP
specifications? is this a bug in AXIS?
- second, the headers of the first attachment look a little bit strange
to me. i know what a chunked transfer is, but i think that these headers
are too chunked if i can say so ;)
(see the response message)
so.. i'm trying to find some solutions to these problems:
- how can i make a 'HTTP/1.1' request and to get a 'HTTP/1.0' response?
i know that there is an 'Upgrade' field, but can i use it for this?
- how can i instruct the server to send me a NON-chunked response? is
the 'Transfer-Encoding' field used by AXIS?
- how can i configure AXIS to not send chunked responses?
