[jira] Created: (CONTINUUM-2619) Continuum Release scm comment
prefix needs to insert whitespace on all commit messages
Continuum Release scm comment prefix needs to insert whitespace on all commit messages
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: CONTINUUM-2619
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CONTINUUM-2619
Project: Continuum
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 1.3.7
Reporter: Marecor M. Baclay
Continuum does not insert whitespace between the entered text and the default message.
i.e. in the commit messages:
SAMPLEPROJprepare release sample-1.0
SAMPLEPROJ copy for tag sample-1.0
SAMPLEPROJprepare for next development iteration
the system is unable to parse the issue ID from the first commit, and the pre-commit hook rejects the commit, failing the release.
there's a workaround for now and that is to include additional whitespace and/or special characters in the 'SCM Comment Prefix' field.
