WebSphere 8.5 Transaction handling

Hi,

Can somebody help us solve (or workaround) this issue:

It is very old, but it prohibits us to use Jackrabbit. The NoTransaction
solution is not an option.

The Filter with a user transaction around the call, almost did it. But
cased problems with the eventing system. As you see in my issue comment.

If somebody helps us getting Jackrabbit running XA under Webspere, i
will go to the Management and try to get a donation to Apache-Jackrabbit.
