HBase Jira Issues via Rest Api

Hi everyone,

Sorry to bother you, but I am doing some data analytics on the H-Base
source code as part of my graduate studies and I need a list of patches
attached with the issues.

My question is, can I access the jira issues via a rest call, as
mention in this
document
<https://developer.atlassian.com/server/jira/platform/jira-rest-api-example-create-issue-7897248/?_ga=2.144558133.1082748118.1550824483-73576827.1548815054>.
Is a rest endpoint for jira implemented by apache.

Anything from you would really help me.

Cheers,
Faizan

Thanks for the response,

I guess I was missing the correct format. Also I was trying it from
postman.

Don't worry about rate limiting, I just need the list of patches(filenames)
with the issues. I think I can get them with just one call.

this is the paper that we are trying to replicate.

cheers,
Faizan

Hi,

yes you can. And it's just as it says in the documentation you provided so
I'm not sure what you're looking for exactly.

One example: <https://issues.apache.org/jira/rest/api/2/search?maxResults=10

You need to be logged in. If you plan on scraping please be considerate and
implement rate-limiting.
