In the next update, I will attach the source code changes needed to port the
Xerces 1.3 release to the following platforms for both static and shared
libraries:

Solaris 8, Forte 6, update 2 patch 111685-03 (32 bit)
HP-UX 11i aCC A.3.33 (32 bit)
AIX 5L 5.1.0.10 VisualAge 5.0.21 (32 bit)
Red Hat Linux 7.2, gcc C++ 2.96
