ActiveMQ roadmap, release date for 5.16.5 release?

Hi,

Is there a roadmap for ActiveMQ releases? I am wondering when ActiveMQ Broker 5.16.5 will be released?
We are waiting on the 5.16.5 release because it looks like it will include a fix for this issue:

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-8556

Which resolves https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2020-36518 which is a high severity potential security vulnerability, so would be good to have this fix.

Hi Peter,

Understood. Let me work on a 5.16.x release then. I need at least a
couple of days.

JB

Hi,

Thanks for the responses.
Updating to 5.17.x is difficult for some of our products since they still run on Java 8.
So one last 5.16.x release would really be helpful.

Hi

As Lucas said, 5.17.1 includes the fix.

If needed I can do a last 5.16.x release.

However, if you can update to 5.17.x it’s better imho.

JB submitted 5.17.1 to a vote yesterday which includes this change: https://lists.apache.org/thread/strs8odwmtps91bfo65jjwt65y0jockq.

Assuming all goes well that should be released very soon. Can you upgrade to that?
