[ANN] Apache CXF versions 2.2.6 and 2.1.9 released
The Apache CXF team is proud to announce the availability of the latest
patches for the fixes branches: 2.2.6 and 2.1.9
Apache CXF is an open source services framework. CXF helps you build and
develop services using front end programming APIs, like JAX-WS and JAX-RS.
These services can speak a variety of protocols such as SOAP, XML/HTTP,
RESTful HTTP, or CORBA and work over a variety of transports such as HTTP, JMS
or JBI.
These are mostly patch releases to fix problems and issues that users have
encountered.
2.2.6 fixes over 75 JIRA issues reported against 2.2.5. See:
http://cxf.apache.org/apache-cxf-226-release-notes.html
2.1.9 fixes over 40 JIRA issues reported against 2.1.8. See:
http://cxf.apache.org/apache-cxf-219-release-notes.html
*Note:* As announced earlier this will be the last 2.1.x release of Apache
CXF. Users are encouraged to start migrating to 2.2.x.

Nicely done team CXF! I've been testing 2.2.6 since yesterday and so far no problems migrating from 2.2.4.
