ApacheCON NA 2010 BOF/Meetup: A new Social/Widget/Gadget Portal Project?

[Ate Douma <at...@douma.nu>]

[intentional cross-posting multiple lists]

Dear all,

Just sending this as a heads up across multiple user lists to inform you about a BOF/Meetup we're organizing at the ApacheCON in Atlanta
next week which might be of interest to some of you.

The above subject probably says it all, but for more information, please check the Meetup wiki page at:

   http://wiki.apache.org/portals/MeetupAtlanta2010/

Short summary: we'd like to brainstorm with interested members of the community and related projects (you!) about a possible
new OpenSocial/Widget/Gadget based Portal Project not based on or tied to the Java Portlet specification.
What features should it provide and who would like to participate?

If you're interested and at the ApacheCON next week, please come by on Wednesday 3rd between approximately 20:00 to 22:00 in room 4.
For latest information about exact time and place and for other Meetups at the ApacheCON, please check:

   http://wiki.apache.org/apachecon/ApacheMeetupsNa10

Hope to meet you there or elsewhere at the ApacheCON!

Regards,

Ate Douma
