[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-11482) Demo VM request for Syncope
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-11482?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15201157#comment-15201157 ]
Francesco Chicchiriccò commented on INFRA-11482:
------------------------------------------------
> What sort of specs do you have in mind?
2 GB RAM, decent processor, 5 GB disk (or more, naturally)
> May I inquire into the deployment types you are going to do? Is it maven etc?
Among other options, Syncope also produces .deb packages, so I believe these should be the easiest way to go.
IMPORTANT: if the VM is going to be Ubuntu 14.04 LTS based, we urge not to have the tomcat7 package installed (we will manually install tomat8 from 14.10 backports).

> As recently raised via dev mailing list [1], we would like to have a VM for automatically deploying artifacts from successful Jenkins builds.
> Is that possible? Once the VM is available, we would naturally take care of deploying artifacts there from Jenkins.
