OpenSourceShirtsGermany: What about SpamAssassin?
Hi folks,
I guess this is more suited for the -user list but I'm subscribed with the
wrong account there. How can one change his list subscription address
anyway?
Ok, back to what I wanted: Some guy here in Germany plans [1] to open
T-Shirt shop for OpenSource projects via Spreadshirt [2]. All revenues will
be donated to some instance, it looks like it will become FSF Europe.
Currently he's seeking for possible projects to support. And I'd really love
to have a SpamAssassin T-Shirt with some cute little ninja :)
Before I suggest it to him I'd like to know
a) if I/we would have to pay attention to anything related to the
SpamAssassin trademark?
b) if there are some more high-res graphics of the ninjas than the ones in
ninjalogo.xcf?
Cheers,
Malte

Yes. Very much so. Just like you can't print your own Dell T-shirts,
you can't print your own SpamAssassin T-shirts.
They might want to wait until the NAI trademark issue is resolved. If
NAI gives the trademark to ASF, then they can talk to the ASF. If not,
then we will rename the project and they might want to use the new name
instead of the old one. :-)
