Re: can i ask for help?

i keep getting this message:

“the last time you opened OO, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. Do you want to try to reopen its windows again? if you choose not to reopen windows, you may have to open and position the windows yourself.”

no matter which i select:

“don’t reopen” or “reopen”

nothing happens; it makes no difference. that message will not go away; and i have to force quit OO.

can someone help get rid of this problem? i want to use OO, but this is a problem.

i have already put my old version of OO in the trash can, and have installed the newest version (4.1.1, i believe). my OS is 10.9.5.

very frustrating. i’m not an expert in this stuff.

thank you in advance.

i want to thank everyone who has responded to my request for help starting a day or two ago; i haven’t gotten back to anyone individually (one person asked me not to). thank you.

You need to delete the folder "org.openoffice.script.savedState". It is in the "Saved
Application State" folder in your User/Library.
