+1, this will be a good improvement. We can also foresee other combinations like  GSI-SSH/SSH for job submission and GridFTP for data movement and so on.

I made changes to gfac-config.xml to run this application and configured SSH keys. My job is still failing because we don't add SSH security if the application is configured to run using Gram. EmbeddedGFacInvoker.addSecurity function need a fix.
