[jira] [Created] (CB-8298) android: Execute exec() callbacks in their own callstacks

Andrew Grieve created CB-8298:
---------------------------------

Summary: android: Execute exec() callbacks in their own callstacks
                 Key: CB-8298
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-8298
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Android, CordovaJS
            Reporter: Andrew Grieve
            Assignee: Andrew Grieve
            Priority: Minor

There is a long-standing TODO in the code already to address this:

https://github.com/apache/cordova-js/blob/24ab6855470f2dc0662624b597c98585e56a1666/src/android/exec.js#L258

Now that Promises are a part of Android for KitKat and above, it makes sense to use them when available to execute callbacks on their own stacks.
