Sounds like you'll have to parse the HTML and download the images
separately. Of course, the page still won't render locally since the
links will be wrong (unless they were correctly made to be relative).

Frames are nothing but multiple gets (or posts if javascript). You can
parse the html and send multiple requests corresponding to src attribute
in <frame>
