   @sangkyoonnam thanks for checking each shape. Yes, a TODO helps. I added one in 02f5f6b at each of the four single-step sites (`_run_single_step_action`, `_run_single_step_streaming_action`, `_arun_single_step_streaming_action`, `_arun_single_step_action`):
   
   ```python
   # TODO: __context/__tracer are not remapped here (see _remap_injected_inputs).
   ```
   
   It's a comment only, with no behavior change. Your `Ctx(SingleStepAction)` repro still raises `TypeError` there, which matches the docstring calling `SingleStepAction` internal. `tests/core` is 403 passed, and `black --line-length=100` and `flake8` are clean on `application.py`. If you'd rather have the remap at those sites too, it's the same one-line `_remap_injected_inputs(action.run_and_update, inputs)` call plus a test per runner. I'm happy to add that here.
