different SU for provider and consumer ?
I have two use cases:
1 - an external service drop files into a directory, and my JBI application
should read these files and create messages based on its data.
2 - a compoent receive the messages create by the step 1 and update a
database...
I noticed in the tutorial I can implement these two functionalities in a
unique SU - i.e., implementing the "ConsumerEndPoint" and the
"ProviderEndPoint" respectively...
Question: considering performance and robustness reasons - is it better to
create two distinct SU or doesn't matter to implement both functionalities
in only one SU ?

It doesn't matter at all. The only difference is if you consider
reusing your SUs in different SAs and you need a more fined grained
level.
