Re: i have tested (was: Test builds for Windows)

Is this: https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127176 is fixed with 4.1.4?
I can't test cause I don't have Windows 32-bit.

Hello,

> I am just doing a build of AOO414 including all 41 available languages.

Thank you.

I have tested Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.4_Win_x86_install_de.exe, no problems.

But I have made a strange observation:
If I try to unpack the installation package with 7Zip does not work, but there is an error message.

Obviously, this is due to the fact that 2 folders with cryptic names (e.g., "_ ユ") are created. That means the structure of the decompressed files is:

/Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.4_Win_x86_install_de/
-/_ ユ/
--/licenses/...
--/readmes/...
--/redist/...
--/...
-/_レ/
--/InstalllOptions.dll
--/ioSpecial.ini
--/modern-header.bmp
--/modern-wizard.bmp

greetings,
Jörg

Hi,

at least it works on my Windows 10 (64bit).
I bundled the latest version of msvcr100.dll (32bit) with that build.

But it would be good if anyone else could confirm it.

The Java problem is confirmed fixed in the new build tested under
Windows 7 (=6.1.7601) Professional SP1 x64

switched to Windows 10 (64bit) and I did a "full" build of all
languages including language packs.Maybe you want to try this version
additionally?

 2017-06-26 15:00:18 (Mo, 26 Jun 2017)

 under Windows 10 Home x64 build 10.0.15063

JRE 1.8.0_131 (32 bit) is identified
 and msvcr100.dll is version 10.0.40219325

so the bug seems to be fixed.

The issue can be tested with any version of Windows irregardless of
bitness of the OS. The issue is with the version of msvcr100.dll. The
64bit version of the dll was inadvertently bundled with the 4.1.3
release thereby not allowing AOO version 4.1.3 to recognize a valid 32
bit JRE. To test if it has indeed been fixed you can install a test
version of 4.1.4 on any windows machine and see if it finds your JRE. If
it does not than the root cause of the issue is not fixed. If it does
then navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice 4\program and check
the properties of msvcr100.dll and verify that it is version
9.00.30729.01 or higher. If it is not than the issue is not completely fixed
