Native JCE proposal

Peoples,

Could those who are interested have a look at :

http://nagoya.apache.org/wiki/apachewiki.cgi?XMLProjectPages/OpenSSLJCEProposal

Make sure it all looks OK? Feel free to update, and come back to the
list if you are uncomfortable with the proposal?

Do people want to stick with the name NativeJCE? If so, that will
define the cvs module/mailing groups we propose. (Or would we use the
xml-security mailing list?)

Cheers,
	Berin

If we're sure we don't want a descriptive name, I like
"Juice" too.

How about JANICE? (It has both JNI and JCE in it :)

Made a couple of minor changes to reflect the fact that it's more of a
Shibboleth project contribution.

I kind of like that, actually.

Made a couple of minor changes to reflect the fact that it's more of a
Shibboleth project contribution.

Looks good :)

Starting up a project will most likely generate a bunch of mail, something
we don't really want to concern our xml-security people with, seeing as
it's mostly unrelated.

If we go through with the security-users and security-dev split I don't
think there are any major issues. We can always split the lists later.
Otherwise I think it would be best to create a seperate maillist for it.
