Problem: HMasters fail to start.

Solution: Check for this error in the HMaster log:

2020-05-01 19:30:13,125 ERROR [main] regionserver.HRegionServer: Failed construction RegionServer
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: java.net.UnknownHostException: hdfscluster
 
 
Hadoop's hdfs-site.xml and core-site.xml files are in your hbase/conf directory
