Thanks for your contribution. I'm not a POI-expert, so I can't comment on the changes. But apparently your patch also reformats code. So you may submit another updated minimal patch, so that it will be more likely accepted.

There were many changes, so it's not so easy for me to reformat the code back. If you have a code formatting configuration for Cocoon project, please reformat the code after patching it and submit another patch which is formatted according to your settings.
