Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: XERCESC-1195
Summary: XMLMacAbstractFile objects leak (from Bugzilla #28316)
Type: Bug
Status: Open
Priority: Minor
Project: Xerces-C++
Components:
Utilities
Versions:
2.4.0
Assignee: James Berry
Reporter: Alberto Massari
Created: Thu, 15 Apr 2004 5:44 AM
Updated: Thu, 15 Apr 2004 6:51 AM
Environment: MacOS X
Description:
In util/Platforms/MacOS/MacOSPlatformUtils.cpp, objects of the class
XMLMacAbstractFile are created whenever a file is opened, but are never
deleted, causing a minor leak - 36 bytes each time.
This can be fixed by adding:
delete reinterpret_cast<XMLMacAbstractFile*>(theFile);
as the last line of the closeFile method.
