GitHub token based authentication requirements

I just got an email from GitHub when I did a push of a NetBeans project. It
said:

It referred me to <https://github.blog/2020-12-15-token-authentication-
requirements-for-git-operations/>
for more information.

Does NetBeans 12.0 support token-based authentication?
If so, how do I implement it?

Re: GitHub token based authentication requirements

Posted by Torsten Römer <to...@luniks.net>.
In GitHub, you can go to Settings -> Developer Settings -> Personal
access tokens, generate a token, and simply use it as password in NetBeans.
