NioSocketConnector non nio alternative?

Does Mina 2 have a non-nio based socket connector ? (Can't seem to find
one)

transport-apr provides an alternative to java.nio.  It uses the
tomcat-native bindings to the Apache APR library.  I will say that right now
I'm fighting problems with it using jdk1.6.

Sorry Trevor I don't think we do.  MINA is based on NIO even for the
IoConnector implementations.
