Khurram Faraaz commented on DRILL-3091:
---------------------------------------

Verified that the problem does not exist on Drill 1.12.0-SNAPSHOT commit id: a51c98b8bf210bbe9d3f4018361d937252d1226d
Canceled a long running query that runs on over 30 millions records, once the query was Canceled, it moves to CANCELED state and not to CANCELLATION_REQUESTED state.

> A long running query (TPC-DS SF 100 - query 2) continues to be listed on the Drill UI query profile page, among the list of running queries. It's been more than 30 minutes as of this report.
> TOP -p <DrillbitProcess> showed no activity after the cancellation. And Jstack on all nodes did not contain the queryID.
> I can share more details for repro.
