Inverse Operation

Hello,

Do you know any package that can do the inverse operation of Velocity? For
example, in Velocity I have my template file ('Hello $name !"), in my Java
code I set my properties ($name=Paulo), and I get the merge result. Suppose
I have the merge result, I have a template file (where I must define the
$name length), and I want to get the $name value. Do you know any java
utility that provides this functionality?
