[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-3329) Send github pull requests to
development mailing lists
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-3329?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13017903#comment-13017903 ]
Joe Schaefer commented on INFRA-3329:
-------------------------------------
Parsing the pull request's Message-ID header is easy enough, which allows
you to determine the associated git repo for a given request. However AFAICT
there is no way to translate that back to the name of an Apache mailing list to send
the pull request to.

> Is there someway we can get github to send pull requests against the official apache repos on github to the apache mailing lists?
> For example, https://github.com/apache/libcloud/pull/1 was created, and none of the libcloud developers noticed it for months.
