ActionForms that implement Map

I thought I saw something that indicated that recent developments in
commons utils allowed Struts users to create an ActionForm that
implemented Map.  Is my memory accurate?  If so, what version of
commons utils (beanutils, I assume) should I have?  Many thanks.
