[VOTE] Release v5.2.1
Hi all,
I've prepared a release candidate for v5.2.1, which is a bug-fix over v5.2.0. The following Jira’s have been addressed in this release:
*) [TS-3437] A null dhParams file will disable DHE.
*) [TS-3424] SSL Failed: decryption failed or bad record mac.
*) [TS-3439] Chunked responses don't honor keep-alive.
*) [TS-3404] Handle race condition in handling delayed terminating chunk.
*) [TS-3285] Fix premature freeing of MIOBuffer to prevent freelist corruption.
*) [TS-3299] Fix leaking vc's during inactivitycop, due to null continuation.
*) [TS-3334] Restore default for proxy.config.proxy_name.
*) [TS-3397] Bug with ink_strlcpy and non-null terminated strings.
*) [TS-3359] Use after free: Tunnel destroyed without updating HttpSM.
*) [TS-3304] Add NULL check to ink_inet_addr() input.
*) [TS-3355] Fix compiler warning on CentOS5.
*) [TS-3316] Fix the build for 32 bit architectures.
As per our release process, this release is compatible with all 5.0.x, 5.1.x and 5.2.0 releases. Details on upgrading from v4.x to 5.x is available at
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/TS/Upgrading+to+v5.0
The artifacts are available for download from http://people.apache.org/~zwoop/rel-candidates/:

I will file an issue on the corruption today. But I don't think that should hold up this RC.

Re: [VOTE] Release v5.2.1
Posted by Alan Carroll <so...@yahoo-inc.com.INVALID>.
I checked out 5.2.1-rc0, did a clean build and installed fresh. I made the following changes to records.config
proxy.config.url.remap.remap_required INT 0proxy.config.http.redirection_enabled INT 1proxy.config.http.number_of_redirections INT 3
If I start this and do "curl --proxy localhost:8080 http://docs.trafficserver.apache.org" it crashes due to an assert.
Igor - do you have any stack traces or additional logging data in traffic.out? Are you running under load or is this without any traffic at all?
