Using Jetspeed2
I am new to Jetspeed.I have successfully installed Jetspeed2 with MySQL5.0
database and tomcat server4.0.But I have no idea as to how to start using
Jetspeed. In the docs it is mentioned that you have to login with some username
and password and you can see some j2admin module or something. But I can't see
that.I can only see the directory structure. Can you please tell me what can be
the problem?
Is there any screen or editor where i can write the code & if there is then
how or where can I get it.There are very few resources about Jetspeed.
Can somebody please help me with this?It is really urgent.
Thank you.
Pooja

Startup.bat under %JETSPEED_HOME%\bin
Open your browser and type:
http://127.0.0.1:8080/jetspeed/
Then Enter.
That's it!

Pooja,
After installing Jetspeed, you will need to run it. Look at the folder
where you have installed Jetspeed. If you have used installer, and
default settings of Installer, it should be in C:\Program
Files\JApache Jetspeed 2.0 (Windows platform) directory.
Got to the bin directory of Jetspeed install folder and double click
startup.bat file to run jetspeed. Wait for a while and point your
browser to http://localhost:8080/jetspeed/
You will see the default page with many portlets. To see admin
portlets login as admin (password admin). You will be asked to change
the password when you login first time. On successful login, you will
see the admin portlets where you can create user, roles groups etc.
I hope this helps you.
Regards,
Raj
