I use NT4(SP4) platform,I have already installed jdk1.2.2 for win,Apache 1.3.12 for win32,Tomcat3.1 .After the JDK1.2.2'S installation,I add the "c:\jdk\1.2.2\lib" into the PATH(System variable),"c:\jdk1.2.2\lib\tools.jar;c:\jdk1.2.2\lib\dt.jar" into the CLASSPATH(System variable).After the Apache installation,because I have IIS4,so I give the port 8080 to Apache,Apache runs correctly.I extract tomcat to c:\ ,give the port 8081 to tomcat.When I copy the ApacheModuleJServ1b3_136.dll ( renamed this dll as ApacheModuleJserv.dll) to the Modules folder in Apache directory,and add the "LoadModule jserv_module modules/ApacheModuleJServ.dll" item into Apache's httpd.conf,I stop the apache service and restart it,apache cannot start.After restore the original configuration,I add the"Include c:\tomcat\conf\tomcat.conf" item into the httpd.conf and restart apache,apache also not start.I add # symbol at the beginning of the line to remark the item,it works.When I active anyone line which begin with"LoadModule......",it also cause the apache service not restart,I don't know why when i activate them the apache comes down?I run the startup.bat of Tomcat,it works fine.
After starting Tomcat i restart the Apache Webserver with the modified configuration but Apache server is not starting.How to make the two services work correctly together?An early reply will be very helpful.
