[jira] [Created] (LIBCLOUD-524) CLONE - In local storage, remove
empty parent folders on object delete
sai krishna created LIBCLOUD-524:
------------------------------------
Summary: CLONE - In local storage, remove empty parent folders on object delete
Key: LIBCLOUD-524
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LIBCLOUD-524
Project: Libcloud
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Storage
Reporter: sai krishna
Assignee: Tomaz Muraus
Priority: Trivial
Fix For: 0.12.1
In the local storage, when an object is deleted, all it's parent directories are not deleted (specially when the object has a deep folder hierarchy). Only it's immediate parent is deleted. This can leave a lot of empty folder lying around in the file-system.
