   This looks implemented on current `main` and may be closeable. `packages/storage/src/session-repository.ts` defines `SessionCheckpointManifestV1`, `CommittedSessionRevision` and the `ClaimForkInput` / `CompleteForkInput` fork idempotency records, and `file-session-repository.ts` implements `claimFork` / `completeFork`; it landed in #4662 (`492ff80f0`). I have not checked the crash-safe publication and stale-writer test coverage against the acceptance criteria here, so I would rather not close it blind. @MicroGery, is anything in the V1 scope still outstanding?
