[Bug 5885] New: SA 3.2.4 spamassassin --lint error

https://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=5885

Summary: SA 3.2.4 spamassassin --lint error
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 3.2.4
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P1
         Component: spamassassin
        AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
        ReportedBy: rf@biovid.com

Updated SA to 3.2.4

Running spamassassin --lint, produces the following error

Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/Scalar/Util.pm line 30.

--
I also had problems installing SA via perl due to HTML::Parser v 3.56
Install of SA would fail.

I had to install HTML::Parser v 3.55 and was able to install SA 3.2.4.

OS Linux RedHat 8.0, perl 5.8.0

Thank you for your help in advance.

We now require HTML::Parser v3.43. Otherwise, please let me know if you are
still seeing this issue.
