Sean Owen updated SPARK-13653:
------------------------------
Target Version/s: (was: 2.0.0)
> Split DiskBlockObjectWriter to separate object- and byte-based write interfaces

> Key: SPARK-13653

> Components: Block Manager

> DiskBlockObjectWriter exposes methods for writing both byte streams and objects. Mixing both of these interfaces into a single class is somewhat messy and requires hacks in certain code to support it (see DummySerializerInstance). I think that we should cleanly separate these interfaces into separate classes.
