ASF Board Report for March 2007

The initial draft of the board report is available here:

http://docs.ofbiz.org/x/XgU

I'll probably send this off in the morning tomorrow (ie a few hours
from now). If anyone has any feedback to express or wants to express
support (+1) or opposition (-1) to this, please do.

There isn't a whole lot to report this month, or it doesn't seem that
way. If I'm forgetting anything important, please let me know!

-David

As an adjunct to that and as someone looking forward to a stable release, is the
  naming convention for the release mentioned in the report put to bed?

<opening can of worms>
Will it be
       Apache OFBiz 4.0
       Apache OFBiz 7.04
       Apache OFBiz 4_STABLE
       Apache OFBiz 4_RELEASE
</opening can of worms>

Coming from a OS (FreeBSD) that has development that works identical to this
project (continual, not completely dependent upon upstream
engineering/packaging), I like the _RELEASE style naming convention. I'd even
suggest we have some sort of patch nomenclature, so that all the security
patches applied to the release version be visible from a running instance, and
be [ documented | easy linked from the home page] as to what is fixed for each
patch.

Okay this is getting long.

Does this need to be a jira issue?
