[jira] [Commented] (PHOENIX-4957) IndexTool incorrectly uses index when rebuilding an active index

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-4957?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16640497#comment-16640497 ]

FYI [~gjacoby][~tdsilva] quick review?
The hint in the subquery doesn't actually work, but it compiles fine. So when the IndexTool grabs the select now, it should read from the data table.

> If you want to leave an index active while rebuilding (e.g. an immutable index), the IndexTool selects from the index table instead of the data table.
> This is because it uses PostIndexDDLCompiler which builds an UpsertSelect statement with a NO_INDEX hint, but the IndexTool only uses the Select portion which has no hint.
