strange behavior of IE browser

When running FOP in servlet, submitting requests of type:
http://myserver/FopServlet?xml=...xml&xsl=....xsl&x=.pdf in Internet Explorer browser results in 3!!! responses from servlet (as can be seen from servlet log).
While submitting the same request from Mozilla browser we get only one response.

Have somebody experienced this kind of problem?

What other nice features (in PDF presentation) IE has?
Please share your experience.

That's well-known problem as you can see in fop-dev and fop-user
achives, e.g. http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=fop-dev&m=101540736828809&w=2.
Another possible reason could be "no-cache" http header, if you have one
try to remove it.
