java.lang.ArrayStoreException: sun.reflect.annotation.TypeNotPresentExceptionProxy

I am getting this error in Tomee 7 M3. This is an application that runs fine
in Weblogic 12c. 

Here is full stack trace.

why not putting it in the main ear (like in its lib folder?)

Otherwise you can use META-INF/jars.txt to add a folder (syntax:
/path/to/folder/*.jar) to the classloader.

It indeed is due to not seeing classes from third party jars. We deploy all
common jars in a seperate EAR file as shared library and refer this library
in weblogic-application.xml.

How to achieve this in TomEE.

Say I have shared library deployed in EAR file - sharedlib.ear. How the
other EAR/WAR can refer this EAR library.

Hi

looks like a dependency is missing or a class which shouldn't is scanned.
Generally configuring scan.xml or exclusions.list allows to solve it.
