Writer repeatedly crashes when trying to apply character styles (complete
crash, windows just close). Also when using the Navigator repeated crashes.

I tried to reproduce the defect in AOO 4.1.2 with OS Ubuntu Linux 15.10.
I created a file in writer and applied multiple character styles without any
application crash. I tried through Navigator also and it did not crash.
