[jira] Created: (TRANSPORTS-33) Override the stop method properly in the MailTransportSender

Override the stop method properly in the MailTransportSender
------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: TRANSPORTS-33
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRANSPORTS-33
             Project: Axis2 Transports
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Mail
    Affects Versions: 1.0.0
         Environment: Any
            Reporter: Hiranya Jayathilaka
             Fix For: 1.1.0

Currently the mail transport sender does not override the stop method. As a result the server can send out mails even after invoking the stop operation on the sender via JMX.

[jira] Commented: (TRANSPORTS-33) Override the stop method properly in the MailTransportSender

Posted by "Hiranya Jayathilaka (JIRA)" <ji...@apache.org>.
    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRANSPORTS-33?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12997394#comment-12997394 ]

Hiranya Jayathilaka commented on TRANSPORTS-33:
-----------------------------------------------

A simple implementation for the stop method could be:

public void stop() {
        super.stop();
        metrics.reset();
        smtpUsername = null;
        smtpPassword = null;
        smtpBccAddresses = null;
        smtpFromAddress = null;
        session = null;
    }

(I'm getting an error when trying to attach this as a patch. So I'm posting this as a comment.)
