Fwd: [jira] Closed: (INFRA-2118) Nexus access for Apache Empire-DB (incubating)

just published a snapshot:
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/apache/empire-db/

uploading the struts2-cxf examples failed and I seem to be uploading
more than the actual size:
...20688/13820K and then http error code 502
Also checksums seem to be wrong. I'll have a look at it this evening.

The problems releasing seems to be related to maven 2.2.0, so we need
to stick to 2.0.10

We need to upload the release to nexus staging and after that create
the assembly from the svn tag
nexus is for the maven artifacts, the assembly for the site

When the release is accepted we promote the maven files to the central
repo and update the website

I have to admit I'm a bit worried about that struts2-cxf example that
can not be uploaded (file size?). I need to contact the maven/infra
team to see what the problem is there.

note to self: make sure the assembly is signed by maven

Hi everyone,

glad to hear that the Nexus access has been granted.

What do we need to do now to start voting on the release?
Do we have to build the assembly, upload it and provide a link to it or are we voting on what's in the Nexus repository?

BTW: the incubator report is due as well. I hope I can find some time tonight or tomorrow night to make a proposal.

Rainer
