Fwd: install config.status for Debian

Hey,

I got this request from Jay.

Does it make sense to install config.status into
${pkglibdir}/config.status? Or is there a better place? I just need to
set the defaults for Xerces-P.

Cheers, jas.

I think the best place would be /usr/lib/xerces-c/config.status (which
is not where I put it now, but it's where I should put it). Right
now, the build for xerces-p sets an environment variable to tell
xerces-p where to find it. If there were coordination between
xerces-p and xerces-c so that xerces-p knew where to find it, then it
wouldn't matter to me, as long as its sensible.
