Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: JAMES-157
Summary: AbstractQuotaMatcher subclasses should not match when reverse path is NULL
       Type: Bug

     Status: Open
   Priority: Minor

    Project: James
 Components:
             SpoolManager & Processors
   Fix Fors:
             2.2.0a16
   Versions:
             2.2.0a15

   Assignee: Vincenzo Gianferrari Pini
   Reporter: Vincenzo Gianferrari Pini

    Created: Thu, 26 Feb 2004 5:40 AM
    Updated: Thu, 26 Feb 2004 5:40 AM

Description:
AbstractQuotaMatcher subclasses currently check if the sender is the local Postmaster, and in such case the match fails, in order to make sure that such messages are always delivered.
The same behaviour is needed when the sender is null (better, when the reverse path is NULL: <>), meaning that the message is a Bounce.
