JDBCReceiver?

Hello,

In the mail-archive, I noticed that people discussed a JDBCReceiver (way
back in 2003). This Receiver is not present in 1.2.9 nor 1.3. Is it replaced
by something else or is it work-in-progress? Should I use the DBReceiver
instead?
