How to get Database Query from Excel ?

Hi All,

Is it possible to retrieve database query related information present in 
an excel sheet ?

I have an excel sheet which has an database parameterized query written
using the 
"Import External Data -> New Database Query" option in excel. All I want is
to read
this query text and the parameter cell using POI/HSSF in my java program. Is
this 
possible in POI/HSSF ?

Hi Rajesh.

We've already implemented such variably filled sheets.

As a simple query shouldn't need a stack for analyzing it that thing
also shouldn't be a problem.

For complex queries (e.g. subquery) it might be not so easy.

But surely you've to do it by foot.
