   ### Describe the bug, including details regarding any error messages, version, and platform.
   
   Arbitrarily nested JSON can run our JSON parser into a stack overflow.
   
   We should hard-code the max JSON nesting depth to a reasonable value that's enough for any actual use case, and doesn't risk crashing.
